Nordic Indie Folk Singer & Songwriter Hagnäs

Hagnäs is the solo music project of Finnish singer-songwriter and producer Laura Hagnäs. She creates Nordic indie folk rooted in personal storytelling and inspired by a life of travel.

Soulful vocals meet poetic lyrics and haunting melodies. Her music holds both distance and intimacy, open skies and acoustic warmth. Hagnäs’ influences range from Nordic folk and indie pop to Americana, Blues an Jazz. The compositions of the Finnish singer-songwriter have found their way into films, onto the radio and onto stages—and, above all, into the hearts of her listeners.

Hagnäs writes and performs in Finnish, Swedish and English.

Based in Berlin, Hagnäs can often be heard busking on the streets of Mitte, adding her voice to the rhythm of the city.
