Synopsis:

A young woman. A headseat. The same four walls, day after day. As routine turns to isolation, a quiet longing grows – for real human connection. Will she find it?

“What made Hunajaa special to me was not only its portrayal of loneliness during the pandemic, but also the creative connection behind it. Andy and I met online during the COVID lockdowns and immediately found a shared artistic language. Shortly before the film was completed, he asked whether he could name it after a song I had written the year before. Of course I said yes. And that’s how a German short film ended up with a Finnish title.” – Hagnäs
